This Sea Salt is made in Hawaii and is infused with Kiawe Wood. Kiawe (pronounced “kee-ah-vay”) is a cousin to mesquite but with a deeper more intense flavor. That is especially good on steak, pork, poultry, or seafood, in addition to soups and chowders. Our favorite is on fresh salmon baked or grilled. Our trade secret SavorBlastTM process produces Pacific Sea Salt crystals by which every grain is infused with Kiawe Smoke and our secret formula of spices. For the health conscious, this Kiawe Smoke infusion accommodates all natural ingredients. Note that we refuse so as to add anti-caking agents so in regions of varying humidity this salt may cake up, even though rarely.
